How to solve the problem of frequent server restart
Hits:1115
As we all know, the server needs to run all year round, and it also carries a wide variety of applications. Therefore, many users will encounter various problems after renting a server in Hong Kong. Some of them are very simple, but they get a lot of problems for customers, such as frequent restart of the server. Today Xiao Bian gave you some common restart problems and solutions for your reference.
First, hardware issues
1. After adding new hardware (hard disk, recorder, etc.), the power exceeds the power input power rating. We can replace a more powerful power supply.
2, overload operation, CPU resource consumption is too high, the need for more power, power supply due to overload caused by power protection. Similarly, a more powerful power supply can be replaced.
3, burn disk / internal hard disk circuit or damaged. Due to internal circuit problems of the optical drive/hard disk, or being damaged, the server will suddenly restart during operation. At this time, we need to check these hardware devices and replace them.
4, motherboard failure. The failure of the motherboard is rare. Generally, the circuit related to RESET fails; the socket is soldered and the connection is poor. Damage to individual chips and capacitive elements. If such a relatively rare problem occurs, it will be more troublesome, requiring professional personnel to conduct inspections and maintenance.
5, CPU temperature is too high, memory thermal stability is not good. When the server is overloaded or there is more internal accumulation of dust, the CPU temperature will be too high and it will automatically restart. When the memory rises to a certain temperature, due to poor thermal stability, it will not work properly, and it will crash or restart. We can often clean the server's internal dust, or improve the cooling system.
Second, software issues
1, the virus has always been a major threat to the server. Like the "Blaster" virus, the system will often prompt to restart automatically after 1 minute. Trojans can remotely control the server's every move, of course, including a reboot. We need to remove the virus or reinstall the system.
2, software conflicts. When two or more softwares are started at the same time, the system will restart. Before we can start the software again, open the task manager to see if the resource of the software is too high. After uninstalling, find the software.
3, system file damage, drive problems. Due to operational errors or system problems, the system files are damaged. For example, Win2000 kernel32.dll, win98 fonts, these system files are very prone to problems, the system will be forced to restart due to the inability to load these system files. Faced with this type of problem, we can overwrite or reinstall.
